The Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library provides several services including:

  • Curbside Service during hours of operation, please call 512.446.3410
  • 24/7 Outside Book Drop to Return all books, audiobooks and movies located on the Ackerman side of the library building by the entrance
  • Computers for patron use with internet access and word processing
  • 24/7 Wi-Fi onsite 
  • B/W and Color Copier and Scan-to-Email Machine
  • More than 33,000 volumes, including eBooks, eAudiobooks, books in large print, newspapers and magazines, and CDs and DVDs for ALL ages
  • Online catalog search capabilities
  • Senior services, such as large-print books

Membership Requirements

Milam County residents may be library members at no cost. Out-of-county residents are charged a $6 fee for the first card in the family and $3 for each additional card. Youths must be at least in kindergarten to receive a card. To obtain a library card, please provide:

  • Photo ID with proof of current address
  • Parent or Legal Guardian’s signature for youths under 18 years of age

Book Drop

There is a book drop on and video drop on the east side of the library. Please ensure items drop completely into the bin.
